I Have a “depression” Dilema?
Question by Disturbed in the mind: I have a “depression” dilema?
I know I’m going to sound stupid. but, I really feel like I may have depression. I really want to get “help”. but, I’m kind of iffy about telling my doctor that I need help because I really dont want doctors talking to me like I’m in a “happy camp” or something. You know trying to bring me up. because when I hear people talking like that It gets me really annoyed and irritated. I know, I really sound dumb right now. but I have a problem with that. Am I hopless for thinking that way? I really dont know how to aproach this depression thing with my doc. I I need someone to knock some sense in to me.

You’re not stupid. And you shouldn’t be afraid to ask for help. Everyone needs help at least at one point in their life. Don’t be afraid. If its how you truly feel and you don’t know what’s causing it or how you could change it you should reach out to someone. You don’t want to waste time feeling down when the beautiful blessing of life is passing you by.
