Christian Counseling?
Question by Sarah: Christian Counseling?
I am planning on enrolling in a graduate program “Counseling” at my christian college and want to be licensed as a counselor under a christian organization (not by the state). I’m seeing all of these organizations that require me to pay for more classes to continue my education through their program before getting certified…. isn’t there anyway once I’ve finished my masters that I can just receive my certification through the organization? I know the rules vary from place to place but if I’m just going to have to be certified through the organization by taken more classes in counseling that I might have already taken I might as well go in with my bachelors…. What do you think?

You may need to take state exams. I had to for my A+ certs and now I am going for my CCNA. I know its a totally different subject but I hope I gave you some idea where to start.
