Occupational Therapy Assistant and Physical Therapist Assistant Programs at Stanbridge College – The Therapy programs at Stanbridge College located in are built for those who are called to aid others in meeting life’s challenges. Physical therapy and occupational therapy licensed professionals work to improve the daily lives of patients. At Stanbridge our professional faculty and clinical partners work to help transition students into a real-world career ready to make an impact on those in need. The Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) and Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) programs at Stanbridge train students in real-world therapy environments. The program provides students with access to three Therapy Skills Labs for occupational therapy and physical therapy and two Nursing Simulation Labs. The Therapy Skills Labs allow students to develop their skills with up-to-date adaptive and modality equipment, mobility devices, therapeutic activities and exercise equipment. Occupational Therapy Assistant students are placed in clinical rotations during their studies where they practice under the direction and supervision of licensed Occupational Therapists at clinical sites in Southern California. Students are trained in facilities including rehabilitation hospitals, mental health facilities, outpatient clinics, acute hospitals and other health care environments.
