Why Do I Always Fall for the Ones That I Barely Know?

Question by Terezi: Why do I always fall for the ones that I barely know?
So I’m in theatre and there’s this guy that I really like. When we first met, it was due to him being in the same acting class that we’re required to take in order to be in the plays. At least he took the effort in knowing my name, but I have no idea if he even likes me. I can’t stop thinking about him. I have dreams of us going on dates. In the dreams we always kiss. His lips are so soft in them, I want to kiss him to see if its real. But it’s a super Christian group and they don’t want relationship drama so they don’t allow love letters and things of that nature. Lately I’ve been speaking to him more, but he always gives short responses. Why do I always fall for guys like this?

I know it’s hard. You can’t really control who you fall for. If you really like him and want to get to know him more, just try to ask open ended questions that are not “yes” or “no” answers.
It’s good that you’re actually talking to him and trying to get to know him; I regret not talking to this guy in high school that obviously had some feelings for me.
