Can Ppl With Mental Disorders Sound Completely “normal” Online?
Question by Corey: Can ppl with mental disorders sound completely “normal” online?
I mean is it possible that when ppl who suffer from depression/anxiety/bipolar talk online to others that they can sound as if nothing is wrong? Is this why many ppl like this prefer online “friendships” and socializtion and don’t want face to face friends at all? Thanks

umm, why not?
From personal experiences, I am currently depressed, but my friends/family have no clue since I behave like I used to. The same would apply to chatting online.
I have studied psychology a bit in high school, and I don’t think depression/anxiety/bipolar will have that much of an impact when it comes to socialising, unless it is very severe.
People may alienate themselves if they have a mental disorder, yet still want that high from talking to people, which might mean they chat online because it is easier, or that they can easily avoid the fear object( for people with anxiety)
