Should I Be Admitted Into a Mental Hospital?
Question by Tori Lounds: should i be admitted into a mental hospital?
im 16 years old. two years ago i cut myself alot. my mom saw and sent me to a psycologist i stopped cutting because my mom checked me. i quit going to the doctor. lately ive be depressed (i have always felt this way, even when i was cutting) sometimes im fine, but most of the time im mad or sad sometimes over nothing, most of the time i just feel numb. i dont show m emotions, i like to keep them to myself. i havent be sleeping. i lay in bed all night, about every third night i pass out from being so exhasted, im always tired tho. also food kinda repulses me, i eat but i dont ever feel hungry. i dont know how to tell anyone about this. but its getting worst i think about what it would be like if i died. i know i need help but i dont know what to do.

Yes, see a psychiatrist. Good luck.

You should see a psychiatrist; These are symptoms of depression.
A psychiatrist will diagnose you, it is unlikely he will commit you.
He will probably refer you to a councilor.
Councelling doesn’t work unless you work at it.
