Why Is My 1 Month Old Kitten Not Walking on It’s Own Yet?

Question by Nehal82: Why is my 1 month old kitten not walking on it’s own yet?
My cat just delivered 2 kittens. They will be 4 weeks old this Tuesday. The female is out and about already, walking on her own and barely wants to stay in the box. On the other had, the male can barely walk yet. He’s all wobbly when he tries to move, and it almost looks like he wants to move around and explore but he can’t, like his legs won’t carry him. I’ve been giving a drop of calcium everyday (with the vets instructions) for the past 4 days but I haven’t been seeing any improvement. What could be wrong with him? The female kitten was also the first one to open her eyes; is it just a fact that he’s growing up slower than female kitten or should I be very worried?
The father is also my cat. He is perfectly healthy. So there are no problems at least directly from the mother or father. But maybe genetically from previous generations.
Brutus Mom: What kind of exercise would help him? Thanks a lot!

Because you have no idea of what kind of genetic faults are in your cat nor do you know the father’s background and genetics, your kitten could be a product of bad genetics. He may or may not improve. You need to get your cat spayed when they are 8 weeks old.

MAYBE YOU SHOULD JUST WAIT ANOTHER WEEK AND IF U STILL DONT SEE ANY IMPROVEMENT THEN CALL THE VET AND TELL HER
