In an application for a chain store I filled out, it asked ‘would you be willing to submit to a drug/alcohol test?’. Obviously I checked ‘yes’. I should have no problem passing the drug test, but the alcohol test…
I’m 20 so if I do test positive is their any legal ramification?
*And as a side note to anyone that wants to give me on substance abuse, I have less than $ 100 to my name and am unemployed. That’s pretty much what alcohol was invented for.

no, there’s no legal ramification — they’re not gonna call the cops.

furthermore, i’ve never heard anyone pre-screen for alcohol. are you sure it’s not just drugs?

You will be fine on the alcohol pre-test as long as you don’t drink before going in to work.
