Anna Nicole Smith Drug Abuse: Anna Nicole Smith’s Daughter Dannielynn Birkhead Dresses Up as Mary Poppins at the 139th Kentucky Derby

Anna Nicole Smith’s 6-year-old daughter Dannielynn Birkhead was photographed attending the 139th Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday (May 4, 2013). The blonde-haired little girl was joined on the red carpet by her father Larry Birkhead. Other stars also in attendance were former ‘N Sync member Joey Fatone, Jane Seymour, Lauren Conrad, Stephen Amell and country music singer Miranda Lambert. Dannielynn Birkhead, who was born in 2006 to Anna Nicole Smith and Larry Birkhead, looked absolutely as she dressed up as Mary Poppins from the 1964 film’s “Jolly Holiday” scene. The child donned traditional Southern Belle attire in a white period-style dress with red trim that she teamed with matching parasol and shoes. Meanwhile, her dad Larry Birkhead channeled Dick Van Dyke in an all-white ensemble aside from a light blue bow tie and multi-colored striped jacket. He sported a straw brimmed hat to complete his appearance for the occasion.

Anna Nicole Smith’s daughter Dannielynn, whose plan is to become a birthday cake baker, a doctor or the owner of an ice cream truck, posed with her dad Larry Birkhead on the red carpet at the event.

The beautiful little girl channeled Mary Poppins in a long white dress, trimmed in red while her dad played Dick Van Dyke in a white, yellow and red striped jacket, white pants, and a straw hat for the event.

Anna Nicole Smith’s daughter Dannielynn Birkhead is definitely following in the footsteps of her model mother, showing off her best pose while smiling for photographers. Last year, the sandy-haired spawn took a starring role in the spring ad campaign for Guess Kids, a denim-driven company. That was the first modeling foray of Dannielynn, whose mom died of a drug overdose in 2007 after a long battle with addiction. Dannielynn isn’t the first celebrity child to enter showbiz world like their parents do as supermodels Alessandra Ambrosio, Cindy Crawford and Christy Turlington have also walked the runway with their little girls replicating them. Joined by Peyton Edmunds, daughter of music legend Babyface in Guess’s campaign, Dannielynn Birkhead starred in both broadcast and print commercials, donning denim vests and striped shirts paired with hats. Dannielynn Birkhead and her co-star Peyton Edmunds were also dressed in shorts and even miniskirts while posing for a series of pictures directed by Guess Creative Director Paul Marciano.

Anna Nicole Smith’s daughter Dannielynn Birkhead walked in her mother’s shoes to model for Guess Kids, looking cute in a denim skirt and white denim vest with a straw fedora in the photo taken by Elliston Lutz on the beach in Malibu.

Dannielynn Birkhead leaned against a large piece of plywood and gazes into the distance in the black and white picture with her light brown hair flowing in the wind.
