Anti Depression and Brain Synchrony Meditation
Anti Depression and Brain Synchrony Meditation – This meditation was first taught by Yogi Bhajan Jan 23, 1975. In this video it is led by Yogi Amandeep Singh and demonstrated by Sat Dharam Kaur and Sat Kaur. It was filmed March 25, 2012 in Vancouver as part of the course, Beyond Addiction: The Yogic Path to Recovery. Practice of this meditation helps us evaluate how positive or negative we are, and encourages a state of positivity and happiness. It can help to alleviate depression. It co-ordinates the two hemispheres of the brain for improved integration and communication. It can be practiced for 11 minutes followed by 31 minutes of sitting relaxation while focussing one’s attention at the crown chakra (top of the head). The background music is Aadays Tisai Aadays by Snatam Kaur, available from www.spiritvoyage.com.
