Question by Mad Max: Do you consider Alcoholics Anonymous to be a religious cult?
There are a number of interesting things about Alcoholics Anonymous that make me think that it is a bit cultish. I’m curious what others here think, atheist and theists alike.
Marrianne, why do you consider it to be a cult, and what are some better secular alternatives in your opinion?
Crafty, Alcoholics Anonymous has been declared a religious groups by the courts, in case you weren’t already aware of that.
