Do You Think That Too Many People Are Getting Diagnosed With Depression?

Question by Rebecca: Do you think that too many people are getting diagnosed with depression?
I think that too many people are getting diagnosed with depression. I know so many people at my school that have medicines like Zoloft and Paxil because of their “depression”. They always seemed fine and very far from depressed before the medicine, and are no different now. Do you think either they were too quickly diagnosed and do not really have depression, or are amazingly good at putting up a front?
