For Christians: Is It Possible Some Are Predestined (Chosen) for Good, Some for Evil, and Some Are?

Question by gracefully_saved: For Christians: Is it possible some are predestined (chosen) for good, some for evil, and some are?
the “free-willers”? This is my main question right now…..Having trouble with answer because the Bible talks about pre-destination, God calling (choosing) some for His purpose, some for good, some even for evil….(Pharaoh for example.) I can’t grasp that we’d all be pre-destined- but I feel like my life was in a weird way…. Ay ideas??? I feel like it would make sense because we are actually all in a spiritual realm, spiritual battle and some could be used for strategy, etc……
But God foreknew us, He knows His plans, and whom He will “call” for His purpose, does that not signify some pre-destination??? He used people in the Bible for evil too. It says it.

God does know the outcome of mankind, every one of us. He knew we would sin when he created us, he knew this, that’s why he designed a salvation plan AHEAD of time, mix this with our freewill, and bam, you have the choice now to escape your “predestinated” hell that awaits. You have the choice to choose Christ, nothing is preventing you right now, it’s a choice. God doesn’t choose for us, the burden can’t be placed on him if we end up in hell.We can’t say “Oh well God, you knew I would end up in hell, so it’s your fault.” God would reply with, “well, child, I gave you a way out and you freely rejected it”.

The Parable of the Wedding Banquet

Matthew 22
1Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying: 2″The kingdom of heaven is like a king who prepared a wedding banquet for his son. 3He sent his servants to those who had been invited to the banquet to tell them to come, but they refused to come.
4″Then he sent some more servants and said, ‘Tell those who have been invited that I have prepared my dinner: My oxen and fattened cattle have been butchered, and everything is ready. Come to the wedding banquet.’

5″But they paid no attention and went off—one to his field, another to his business. 6The rest seized his servants, mistreated them and killed them. 7The king was enraged. He sent his army and destroyed those murderers and burned their city.

8″Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding banquet is ready, but those I invited did not deserve to come. 9Go to the street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.’ 10So the servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they could find, both good and bad, and the wedding hall was filled with guests.

11″But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes. 12’Friend,’ he asked, ‘how did you get in here without wedding clothes?’ The man was speechless.

13″Then the king told the attendants, ‘Tie him hand and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

14″For many are invited, but few are chosen.”

Accepting Christ as your saviour is the beginning. He calls people to Him and they accept Him. They must dress themselves spiritually, though, in the proper clothing, through their behaviour. They can’t accept Christ and just continue sinning. You can’t just talk the talk, you gotta walk the walk. Otherwise it’s hypocrisy.

We are in a spiritual war:

10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

God Bless!
