How Can I Help a Drug Addict?

i have an uncle who is doing speed. he is very depressed in life, he has lost so many of his loved ones, he lost his job, he doesn’t have a car anymore, he doesn’t have any money. i really love him we grew up as brothers and sisters, he needs help but i have no idea how to help him. he put himself in rehab but he got kicked out for hugging a crying girl. he was doing fine for about a month and a half after he got out but just recently relapsed, it hurts so much to see him in this state, is there anyone who has been in this situation, has been a past abuser or has any opinions i really would love to here them, im really depressed over this situation,.

You can’t help. Just protect yourself…he has to help himself.

you can’t help a drug addict. he has to help himself. You can cheer them on but thats about it.
