I have no idea where the previous wealthy and happy empires fell, but I think – by spending billions of valuable resources on collecting solar wind or solar dust, meteorites, etc is meaningless to keep up
wealth and low cost energy resources.
Energy suppliers know that you waste their matter and sell it for much more.
