So last year, I had a stress fracture in my foot. It was bad enough that they put it in a cast. Now, I’m on my high school varsity softball team and it’s hurting a lot and it’s swollen in the same place it was last year. I don’t know if i want to go back to the doctor for it. Is there other care that I can do without going back to the doctor because I still want to play softball.

Softball’s out…the best treatment for a stress fracture is rest. Playing softball is one of the worst things you can do if you really do have a stress fracture. As far as treatment, look up “stress fracture foot treatment” on webmd or a search engine, and it should give you some tips. Ideally, you should really go to the doctor. If you don’t, you could just make the problem worse.

i had one never had a cast :( i just took it easy on my feet for bout 3 weeks With some strong painkillers they gave me

try not to walk on it

funny thing is i woke up one day and it was just broken lol must of kicked the wall in my sleep really hard…good job i have no one sleeping with me :'(
