How to Get Out of a Depressive Episode Without Medicine?

Question by David H: How to get out of a depressive episode without medicine?
In high school I had one and I read that if you go to bed depressed you are very likely to wake up that way so I bowled 4 games, swam and then did 200 sit ups and was to tired to be depressed so it worked however now I would be hard pressed to do 20 sit ups let alone 200. any ideas folks?

There is a huge difference between feeling ‘depressed’ and actually suffering from the called “Major Depression” which has to do with brain chemicals being off.
Exercise releases dopamine, which is a natural ‘feel good’ remedy.
