I have a kid and would have to pack our stuff and go to my moms. Should I go or make him stay somewhere?

He wants us to leave for 2 weeks so he can be stressfree.

No, you shouldn’t leave. He needs to be in a program with monitored detox. It’s not fair to you or your child to have to pack up and leave because your husband is an alcoholic. He’s the one that needs to leave – and not to another house, he needs to go to treatment.
