Your doctor can do blood work to rule out rhumothriod arthritis.

There is a blood test. It’s called the RA factor and will determine if you have Rheumatoid arthritis. If it is elevated the doctor will recognize this and should act accordingly. Symptoms are joint pain, particularly in your hands and wrists, but can also affect feet, knees and ankles as well. It also affects the soft tissue of your body.
