Is There an Online Gender Therapist That Can Prescribe Hormones?

Question by Tsraod Map: Is there an online gender therapist that can prescribe hormones?
I’m wanting to transition but I’m several hours away from gender therapists with no car. I was wondering if there was a place I could do therapy online and still get permission to be prescribed hormones.
I don’t plan on getting hormones online, I just need to see a gender specialist to get my referal so I can go and get my hormones from a physician or endocrinologist or whatever.

I’m sure you know more than I do about this kind of thing and sorry if this doesn’t necessarily answer your question…

I would be careful with any “doctor” you confide in, send money to, or get medication from. This is not something i would want to risk by going to just anyone.
Also, as im sure you know… You must be completely evaluated phychologically and physically before you will get granted these hormones so you will have to make a trip to a doctor at least once.

I would suggest calling as many psychiatrists as you can and finding out if you can do some kind of over the phone therapy/evaluation. Regular procedure as anyone else, just over the phone. And maybe ask if you can get a physical done nearby and have the results sent to them.

To your specific question; I’m not sure if there are online therapy options but if you decide to go that route please do your research on these doctors and be careful…
