Is There Something Besides AA?

Question by ta p: is there something besides AA?
i have been trying to quit alcohol for two years. everytime i go to an AA meeting i always feel worse than when i went. are there other options?

Yup, hospitals, prison and/or the cemetary. But. I suspect you hear that at the meetings. If nothing else, AA will definitely ruin your drinking career whether you quit or not! One day at a time is how I quit….took me 11 years to get 1 year of sobriety…I now have 12 years. Just hang in there and keep coming back…it DOES work!!

I know the answer to your problem………..JESUS… he can change you. He did me. I used to go to Ala-non meetings and AA and NA with my parents. I started going to church and I felt the same way as you do when I went to the meeting.
Jesus really changed my life, my heart and my desires. I have no desire to do the things that I used to. I know many other people who have been delivered from addictions such as alcohol and drugs and such like.
He is just a prayer a way! And find a good Christian church. A holiness, full gospel church that preaches the truth, the Bible.
