Being an artist, had its drawback’s, especially in the 60s, when most rock bands were experimenting with Cannabis and LSD, his addiction to drugs would eventually curtail his life prematurely in the early nineties. However, it was not the drugs that caused his life to change, but a devastating car accident, where he actually he ended up in a nearby field after being thrown the windscreen on the vehicle he was travelling with.
