LGBT: My Parents Want Me to See a “Christian Therapist”?
Question by Joseph: LGBT: My parents want me to see a “Christian Therapist”?
So yesterday, I came out to my parents. (well they asked me and I said yes..but whatever) Anyway, I knew they would say I needed to see a therapist and I was okay with that. Then my mom said that she was going to call the christian therapist, so I asked if they were going to try to change me or something and my mom asked, “Well..do you want to be changed?” and I replied, “No. Because I know that I can’t be” and she goes, “…well..It’s not up to you” Help? I’m really scared now…

Tell your parents they’re full of shit. If they think they can change something as major as this, they obviously don’t understand you.
