Bankruptcy W/ POA Assets?
Are you allowed to file bankruptcy if you have Power of Attorney over your mothers finances? My mother has a fund which our father left her after his passing. It’s a substantial amount. Will this count against us filing for bankruptcy? If we have POA, and now technically have access to the funds, does that count as OUR assets? (Mother is in a long term rehab center after major stroke/brain hemorrhage)

My grandmother is staying at a rehabilitation center as part of recovery from pneumonia. I am visiting her on Saturday, which is the day after her birthday.
