Mental Health Clinic – State mandated mental health reform continues to bring big changes to mental health care across North Carolina. Local management entities have been directed to cease providing direct services and to transition into managed care organizations similar to insurance companies. To ensure that our county continued to have a safety net for mental health patients, Cumberland County’s Department of Public Health has taken over management of the Mental Health Clinic.
