My mom was in a car accident with her best friend last year and she has already received compensation from the person that hit them in the rear of the car . She has has multiple problems since then , And her chiropractor says thathe4r insurance will not pay for her visits because she has trauma to her back that comes from a car accident and the physical therapy that he was giving her is not and will not help So she wants to know if she is able to sue her friends insurance? if so what steps do she have to take ?

Basically while being in a car accident, she can get compensated just for being on a car accident plus all medical bills, she will have to consult a lawyer for that. Don’t try to do it yourself. make sure you bring details to the lawyer insurance info, friends name, person that hit the vehicle

Your mother can only collect from the at fault drivers insurance, which sounds like she already has.
The insurance for her friend, the car she was in, would not cover her injuries as her friend was not at fault for the accident.

Furthermore, you cannot collect from more than one company, its called Double dipping and its against the law. A felony to be exact.

If your mom still needs medical treatment, she can treat and submit the claims to her health insurance company. If they are refusing to pay due to some condition or clause in her health policy, well then she needs to address that with that company.
