Question by fluffyunleashed: Old Injury “Acting Up” Is there anything I can do, like stretches or something, to relieve the pain?
Last summer I tore my Meniscus (not sure if I spelled that right cartilage in my knee) and I went to physical therapy, but they told me it may act up every now and then. And it has, like once every three months or so.
Today it’s been hurting a little bit more then the previous times so I was wondering are there any stretches or stuff I can do to help relieve the pain.
This is also a question for the future because I may or may not be going to basic training this summer for the Army, so if it acts up there obviously the distraction of pain is something I wouldn’t want.
It doesn’t hurt TOO much but enough that it’s annoying and slows me a little. Thanks in advance!

The only way to stop the generation of a pain signal is to fix the damage.

Join the army with a bad knee!!! Are you nuts??? I’ve been in the army and watched basic training destroy all the guys with old injuries.
