Question by Contrariwise: Spiritually speaking , has anyone benefited from pastoral counseling ? Is there proof this works?
I called a therapist today and wondered what the statistics were on pastoral counseling for depression or secular counseling since they use the same methods. I wonder if there is proof that this works. Atheists and Christians and ETC , please reply.

Sure, counseling helps out. If it didn’t, there wouldn’t be any counselors!
