Suicide Rehab Centers: Suicide: An Afterlife Perspective
Firstly, I’m not a councilor or anything like that, so if you are feeling unstable in any way, please seek out professional people that can help you with that.
However, I can share my experience in contacting souls who have died as a result of suicide. If you are unfamiliar with my work, I accidentally discovered there is an afterlife, and ordinary people can contact those in it. More on Life After Death on my website.
Those who are grieving the loss of a loved one, often write to me, wishing they could be with the one they miss. But as hard as it is to cope to losing a partner, child or friend, in most cases, the person who has left wants us to carry on.
I know if anyone ends their life unnecessarily, there is a strong feeling of regret afterward. When I ‘talk’ to these people, there is an extremely strong divide between the perception of things as they were aware of them prior to death, and their perception of things after death. Such persons speak of having a totally one-sided view of all things prior. Everything, regardless of how good or bad life seems, of how loved or unloved they feel, everything in these people’s minds is concerned with how they feel.
This is particularly noticeable if the person has suffered the loss of a loved one.
Person who commit suicide, I find usually after about 4-5 months, become aware of a higher purpose, of how everything fits in together, and are filled with remorse, because now they understand how others feel, and how their action causes far more grief than what they felt, themselves, prior to death.
I’m not trying to ‘preach’ to you, just simply share what I have received many times, from people who have committed suicide, that have come through to me.
What I like to share is the concept of reversing roles. Especially if you have lost a loved one, I want you to imagine that you have passed away in the same way the person you miss did so. Whether it be quietly, sadly or violently, imagine you have passed away from the same cause, and the person who you miss, is actually still alive. For example, if you have lost a daughter in a car accident, imagine for a moment that she is still alive, and you’re the one who was killed in the car crash.
You’re in the Afterlife, looking down (actually, you don’t look down, as “Heaven is Beside You”) and you see your daughter grieving for you, and contemplating suicide. Would you want her to? Of course not. You can see the life ahead of her, the opportunities, the joy. You can see the sadness your passing caused so many, and you are well aware of how many more will grieve the unnecessary loss of another life if she commits suicide. In fact, wouldn’t you do everything in your power to try and tell her not to? Put words in her head, play a song on the radio than encourages or comforts her. Try to encourage others to be around and help her and protect her. You would do these things.
So if you’re contemplating suicide because you are grieving the loss of a loved one, consider those words. Consider how this person would be trying to contact you, to help you, comfort you and stop you. If you try, you’ll hear them. My website share a lot of information, books, CD’s etc to help you understand the connection you’re already having, but don’t realize. www.philg.net.au
Another thing I help people do is to use a relaxation method I came across years ago, that helps put your life in perspective, and helps remove the desperation suicidal people feel. In simple terms, you just allow yourself to think about all the people living in your suburb or town, and try to imagine all the problems these people have. There’s a lot. And many problems would be worse than your situation. It’s covered really well in an Audio called “Relax and Renew” on my website.
Finally, my wife came across a novel years ago, which looks at life, and reincarnation, in a very interesting story. I think it will shed new light on how you view life. It’s called “Ferny” by James Long, published under ISBN 978-0-7515-3885-4. It’s available on Amazon or book stores.
Take care. Phil G
