Why Do People Say “You Need Counseling” to Others?
Question by Yaay! Lil’Muchachas! Yaay!: why do people say “you need counseling” to others? is it because behaviour that isn’t approved by the majority of people is considered behaviour that needs to be treated? Like anyone can be “better” than anyone else? They can’t. Everyone has a little bit of columbine in them, or days of “I hope someone steps to me today”. It’s human. Couldn’t everyone use a little bit of counseling? Or not the self-proclaimed normal majority who believe they’re “noraml” and everyone else isn’t. What is truely “normal”? Spinal Cord Injury Treatment: an Overview of Spinal Cord Injury
A spinal cord injury usually comes about as a result of a sudden or traumatic blow on the spine that either dislocates or fractures the vertebrae. The damage usually takes effect immediately when the disc material and bone fragments tear or bruise the tissues, but the spine is not severed at this time. Most injuries are likely to cause compression and fractures to the vertebrae. This leads to the damage of axons, whose major role is to carry signals across the spine from the brain to other parts of the body. This can easily cause damage to a few or virtually all axons. One can completely recover from some of the injuries sustained, while in some cases it can lead to complete paralysis. Read more... ...

Magnetic Therapy for Depression: Magnetic Jewelry Therapy
Magnetic Jewelry therapy involves the use of magnetic jewelry that has been negatively charged. The reason for this is that they believe is that our bodies carry electronic energy. When we experience disease, pain, and inflammation, it’s because we have too much positive charges in our bodies. So what we need to do is to get the negative charges in our bodies to get rid of the conditions that are bothering us. When we wear healing bracelets, or magnetic jewelry methods, we can use a simple method to take control of our bodies, and get our electric body chemistry back into alignment. Read more... ...
A Good Name for a Page About Mental Health Support?
by Darkstream Question by Stephanie Carter: A good name for a page about mental health support? I have a page on facebook that I originally founded to increase awareness of self-harm and suicide. As the page has progressed and become more popular though my admins and myself have branched out to include other topics such as general depression, anxiety, bipolar, eating disorders, self-esteem, bullying, rape, abuse, and basic motivational posts in the hopes of being able to reach and help people that are troubled in different aspects of life. Due to these changes I’m trying to find inspiration for a new name for the page. Currently it is called “Self-Harm and Suicide Prevention: Fight Depression” and formerly was simply “Self-Harm and Suicide Prevention.” I’d like the new name to be something that can somehow convey all of what the page has to offer support on but so far nothing I’ve thought of seems to fit. Any help or suggestions would be much ...
