Medical research and clinical studies are vital to aiding in the prevention and curing of diseases. While not every health issue can be cured, many strides have been made in the medical field involving more effective recovery treatments for stroke patients. Once a patient is diagnosed with some form of traumatic brain injury due to stroke, they are monitored, treated to try to help prevent another brain attack and scheduled for rehabilitation which can range from outpatient to inpatient rehabilitation services depending on the severity of the attack.
