by lemonhalf Question by 1,2,3,4: Is it really that bad (picture)? So usually I can take “constructive” criticism rather well, being a fully functioning member of the internet you hear a lot of it. A comment on my appearance which I get a lot is “you smile like a stroke victim”. Meaning my smile is terribly crooked. Up until recently it hasn’t really bothered me, but it seems I notice it more and more now. So I wanted to know. is it really that bad? Or am I overreacting? A review article published in February 2009 in the Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons affirms that Physical Therapy should be the first treatment for low back pain. This review of previously published peer reviewed journal articles recommends that in the majority of cases the most effective treatment is physical therapy combined with anti-inflammatory medications.
