Periodic “drunkorexia.” – Drunkorexia describes people (mostly women) who are heavy drinkers but limit their food intake in order to “party.” It’s not an official term, you won’t find it in the dictionary, but a lot of people in the mental health field have used this term. I personally am not underweight. My weight usually fluctuates within the normal realm. But periodically when I drink I will not ingest much more food so I leave free space (calorie-wise) for alcohol.
