Help for Depression Without Medication?
... My father, who I currently live with, will not take me to a health clinic to get me help or to see a psychiatrist because he “doesn’t believe in medication”. There is no point in talking to him about it anymore, or trying to get him to take me, because all he will say is that I need to “pull my head out of my a**” and “stop being stupid and trying to get attention.” So, the ultimate question is: how can I treat depression in any way without the use of prescription medication? I am currently seventeen, and turning eighteen in five months, but I’m not sure I will make it if I continue like this. I’m already having trouble doing even the most simple things like getting up in the morning, getting dressed, walking to classes at school, etc. Please help… A quick update..
