I have two ruptured disks in my neck { c-5 & c-6 } it’s pressing on my spinal cord, I was told I did not need surgery ???? I also have survived being struck by lightening about 8 yrs. ago. I have debilitating migraines, no doctor will give me pain meds that work, I try everything they give me, I am taking Prozac for depression & xanax for panic attacks & anxiety & muscle spasms ( the shakes ) but my doc. don’t want me to take the xanax , they put me on these because I tried to commit suicide, When I have a migraine I throw up for 4-8 hrs. at a time my body cannot handle much more, or my mind ! If anyone has a suggestion PLEASE let me know what to do. Thanks
I have honestly tried everything and am tired of being a ginny pig for meds that I can’t afford and that don’t work, why can’t I have what works til the problem is found or a treatment found ?
With out being treated like a drug addict when I’m totally not !

Hey, I actually have some similar issues. I have degenerative disk disease, and osteoarthritis im my 4th & 5th lumbar. I also suffer from sever migraines, that usually send me to the ER. I have gone to several doctors to try to get the pain under control. My next step is the physical therapy I have started. You might want to talk to your doctor about going to a pain clinic. That’s where my next stop on the train to never ending fun is. They show you techniques, and try out different types of pain management besides medications. They will try to pin point where your pain is stemming from. I know exactly how you feel with stressing out over the pain and struggling through lame excuses from the doctors. Hang in there, your not alone. I would highly recommend physical therapy, and or seeking a pain clinic.
