What Is Primal Therapy?

Question by we could be perfect one last night…: What is primal therapy?
In very simple terms, please, because I read the Wikipedia entry and still can’t understand; the wording was too complicated for me. Can someone please explain it in details?

finding a way to releave the pains of childhood. especially emotional pain. the theory is: Pain responce is “stored” in the central nervous system and must be relieved for excellent emotional and possibly physical health. psychotherapy is a part of the treatment.
