What Now?Advice Needed. Am I Out of Options?
Question by : What now?advice needed. am i out of options?
Was in a social services program for rehabilitation(not drug rehab). I can only go to the doctors they assign. I went to caseworker and told them I have a neurological disorder and may very well have problems because of that (brain tissue compression from benign cyst) that has yet to be diagnosed but is visable on an MRI. The caseworkers sent me to a 1st doctor who did not look at the MRI (or take it into consideration) at all. He did a short psychological exam and said I had “mixed personality disorder” and stated it was the reason I had trouble working and that I should “go for counseling”.
The case worker then sent me to a psychologist for 10 sessions. I have completed 7 of them(one hour each). We did nothing but talk about the problems I was having with getting a job and the obstacales. She did gueuinly try to make some good suggestions. But it was the good advice I couldn’t take so to speak because I had either already tried them or thought of the suggestions my self a long time ago and knew they wouldn’t work(for valid reasons). I told last time I went, I told the psychologist i didn’t want to return as I though it was doing no good. Was this the wrong thing to do? She knows only small details of my neurological diorder, but not of the compression from the benign tumor. The case workers are the same way. They know I have a neurological disorder but seem to be disinterested in thinking it could be the benign tumor. All focus is on the “mixed personality diorder”. I am not able to convence them to look at the other probable cause of brain tissue compression as the cause of my problem. No one will listen. What do I do? What can I say?
Any advice welcome.

Go to a neurosurgeon who will probably test you and/or order a CAT scan or MRI
to get to the bottom of this.
You’r dealing with many issues and from the effects of accumulated stress. And your
current doctors don’t seem to be doing anything about it.
Your body and mind are trying to cope but … it’s hard.
You probably have a chemical imbalance in your brain which is very common and nothing
to be ashamed about.
You need better therapist who can prescribe appropriate medications to help you get better.
With the right meds, you will be much better, happier, calmer and feel normal, finally.
But therapy and meds can do only so much. God is the ONLY one who knows what you’re thinking, how you’ve struggled and what you’re going thru. He loves you passionately and wants to be your BFF. He has a super-deluxe custom-made plan for your life that’s beyond anything you ever dreamed of.
BUT He waits for us to ask. Invite Him into your heart, ask Him to take over your life. You will instantly feel better. You are His special masterpiece. He planned for you before He even created the universe.
Watch Him ease the stress and give you peace in it’s place. He is on YOUR side. He never stops thinking about you. His thoughts toward you are more than the grains of sand on the beach (Psalm 139). He loves you more than you can possibly imagine!
Find a big happy church and join some groups. Get a bible that’s easy to read (New King James is good) and read it every day. Find Christian support groups. Watch Christian programs like Joel Osteen, 700 Club, Daystar, TBN TV. Read Christian books, watch Christian DVDs.
All the above and churches also have wonderful counselors that can help you.
There’s so much fascinating information to learn. Jesus loves you more than you can possibly imagine. You’ll have fun and the rest of your life will be the very best of your life.
Since the bible is the best-selling book of all time, nobody can claim to have even
a basic education without having read and studied it.
I hope this helps; it sure made a huge difference for me :)
They who seek The Lord shall not lack any good thing. Ps. 34:10
Delight yourself in the LORD and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass. Ps 37:4-6
Pour out your heart to Him (Ps 62:8) Nothing you say will shock or surprise God.
“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined the things that God has prepared for those who love Him.” 1 cor 2:9 WOW!

I wish I could help more, but I don’t know much about this. Try going to see another doctor. Always get a few different opinions. Jesus loves you and paid for your life with his. Pray for God’s help, he has never left your side.
