What Subjects Do I Need to Take in High School to Become a Physical Therapist?
Question by princessa: What subjects do i need to take in high school to become a physical therapist?
What would I need to study in college if I was an undergraduate……and for how long?
After i get my undergraduate/bachelor’s degree, what would be the next step………would I have to go to another school which specializes in just PT; like a “school of Physical Therapy”?
Do you know any good colleges in Queens, New York that I could go to just for what I want to study? (Links please)

Do you have a guidance counselor at your school? That would be the best source of information. AS far as I know only a bachelors is needed to be P.T.

you will have to complete a PT program, many colleges have an all inclusive program that allows you to do the undergrad and grad work in the same school…high school subjects won’t really matter, when you are an undergrad you will take a lot of anatomy and physiology courses…you might want to look in manhattan and brooklyn as well as queens…the only program i know of in queens is at st. john’s university…also look into programs for sports medicine…syracuse has a very good one…
