Well, apa.org has many useful articles. For instance, if you were wondering about treatment of , you could follow the site to http://apa.org/topics/bipolar/index.aspx
There’s articles on treating virtually all psychiatric patients, and will probably help clarify which ones may need medication and which could be done entirely through therapy. For instance, you could help someone with bipolar overcome that through therapy; a paranoid schizophrenic usually always needs medication though.
