Question by : Why do I see many doctors oppose marijuana usage, but many other ppl say its safe?
Every doctor I’ve asked said that its not a good idea to start smoking weed, but many other people say that weed isnt that bad. I dont know who to believe.

Because they don’t want you to get high off of it and become psychologically dependant on it. Maybe there are concerned that it could be a gateway drug to other more dangerous drugs.

No doctor would ever advise any patient to smoke anything. Putting smoke into your lungs is never good for you. Over the long term smoking anything damages your lungs.
