Hospital stay is not free, but many young families go to San Jose.

No, hospital stay is not free. I dont know about LA, but maybe they go to SJ because it has its good parts of the city, cost of living is not as high as SF, still can find easy labor jobs (the ones that just require “doing” and not much thinking or talking)

Its all just a guess though cuz only they know why they choose LA or SJ
