My son is 16 and says he is depressed and this helps him without hurting him in any way. He also said that it will keep his depression secret from his friends and girlfriend because its normal for them to do it.

i would always tell them not to do drugs, but i really wouldn’t care as long as he is being responsible… and since you as a parent know he is depressed, why not try and help him (you know, without promoting drugs as a solution)

the thing is it DOES hut him and he will NEVER be able to stop without alot of will power. DO NOT let him do this. its good that he is open nand honest with you but marajauna will just make him fall into greater depressiuon which he will never be able to pull himself out of and will ruin his life. I’ve seen this happen to numerous friends.
